The Bone.. The Bone!

Follow up on yesterday, I've now added a layer of bleached bone to these 4:

The bone still isn't a perfect cover, but by the time I've added Gryphonne Sepia, the effect will be good enough.

Remember my goal is to look good, but also quick.

Bone.... Yuck!

Time to add the next stage to my dudes...

This is an undercoat of deneb stone on the robes - I tried putting on 2 or 3 layers of bone, but it didn't come out as smooth as I wanted. Now a layer of stone, and one layer of bone (for next update, didn't have time today) gives a nice flat colour to ink.

80? *Queue Maniacal laughter*

Just realised the box to the left detailling my paint points for 2009 had a target of 80... Starting at 4. Ha. Never mind eh?

I think it needs updating... And maybe a bit of added reality!

Happy new year! I hope 2010 rocks for all of us in the best possible ways.

Anyway, back to work today after last week being stuck in the house from snow...

Doesn't look a huge amount, but there was 10+ inches on the ground!

I had time to start the last stage of green on 3 out of the 7 dudes in my drawer.

Unfortunatly the pics aren't coming out too well under the lights in here. Anyway, over all the raised surfaces (especially edges), twice or three times if needed, paint on a mix:

1 part Dark Angel Green

1 part Snot Green

1 part Water
